David Craig, Native American Artist
welcomes you to the Four Winds Studio Art Gallery, a sacred space where art, spirit, and tradition converge in the heart of Eatonville. Here, each painting, drum, and artifact carries the voice of our ancestors, inviting you on a journey of connection and reflection. At Four Winds Art Gallery, David has created a haven that bridges the past and present, art and spirit. David Craig – enrolled Chippewa (Ojibwa) artist with decades of experience – has devoted his life to preserving and sharing the wisdom of Native traditions through art. In this gallery, every piece has a soul. The watercolor portraits whisper ancient stories; the hand-made drums pulse with the heartbeat of the earth. Visitors are greeted as friends and invited to learn the stories behind each artwork. This isn’t just a gallery – it’s a collection of his life's work in a living, breathing cultural experience.

You’re not just buying art – you’re preserving a heritage and bringing a story into your home. (Benefit: You gain a meaningful piece of culture, not a mass-made product.)
Spiritual Enrichment & Peace: Whether it’s the gaze of an elder in a watercolor or the resonance of a ceremonial drum, the artwork here is created with spiritual intention. Many visitors describe a sense of peace and connection upon experiencing David’s art – a gentle reminder of what truly matters. (Benefit: The art nurtures your spirit and fills your space with positive, grounded energy.)
Personal Connection & Guidance: with David, you can meet the artist in action. Whether through workshops, or events and commissions, David is out in the field for the love of his work. He often shares wisdom, stories, and even drum-making workshops, guiding those who seek deeper understanding. He remains connected with many tribes both local and as far as the Great Lakes, standing out as a pillar in the Native American community for his contributions to keeping Native American traditions alive.
